Fitness Sensory Companions use positive motivation to facilitate a more comfortable experience through the use of a sensory toy based product.
This product will ensure the trainer and parents have a simple and easy way to track and view their child's bio data progress and journey.
Background
The task at hand was to help autistic children at a gym overcome significant challenges in maintaining focus on fitness goals and effectively tracking their progress. Traditional methods for engaging these children often fell a bit short, failing to capture their interest or provide clear feedback. Additionally, the available data visualization tools for parents and trainers were overly complex and obscure, making it difficult to monitor the children's progress in a meaningful way.
Problem
There were limited ways of redirecting gymnasts attention to fitness goals and current data visualization is limited and obscure for the parents and trainers.
Solution
To address these challenges, we developed Fitness Sensory Companions, a sensory toy-based product designed to motivate and engage autistic children during their workouts. This companion is connected to a smartwatch, which tracks the child's biometric data in a fun and organic way. At the end of each session or week, parents and trainers receive a simple, easy-to-understand printed report, allowing them to monitor the child's progress and ensure a more enjoyable and productive fitness experience.

Data Visualization
The fitness companion will provide bio data of the gymnasts heart rate, and blood oxygen levels throughout the workout session. Workouts done, calories burned, and steps taken.
The data will be logged per session and create a log history of the gymnasts fitness journey. Positive data will show what ISF companions facilitate the best work ethic outcomes for the gymnast. This data will be shown in a mobile app for ease of access for the trainer.
